A spanking new 35- seater bus was donated to Mount Alvernia High School in September 2019. It was donated by the Central Florida Chapter of the Mount Alvernia Alumnae Association. The bus has also been the first ever for the school in its history. The school was badly in need of it and President of the chapter, Dawn Chin Jones spearheaded the cause.

The state-of-the-art bus is equipped with USB port at each seat and WIFI, refrigerator, large luggage compartment and other fabulous features. It is deemed that the bus will be used for all field trips and sporting activities.

Both the Montego Bay and Kingston chapters of the Alumnae Association were involved in the purchase of the bus; along with a JMD $1 million dollar donation from the school.
